Cobol Programmer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
Design highly scalable, testable code.
Discover and fix programming bugs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

Development experience with COBOL programming language.

SQL database, Android, Linux, Xamarin, .Net Framework, C#, Mobile Applications and Python Programming.

2 – 5 years of on-the-job experience.

Ability to work both as part of a team and on your own.

English must be fluent both spoken and written, clear and precise.

Looking for an opportunity to start at or near the bottom and work up to become a major player in the Samco Team.
